It sucks #indyfail

This needs to be re thought of next year. Tqs would have fun on this track. Almost 830 and still have another heat of midgets to run. Very disappointed about the way this has been!

Why didn't they move the infield out to where the racing grove is now. Must be Bob Franklin in charge

I'm guessing CO levels are too high and fire marshal shut them down. Could be wrong but seems like a strange time for track prep

Those inside berms should have been out another 20 ft, at least.

We used to have indoor races in Grand rapids, the fire marshal kept track of the air quality. If it got bad they stop the races till it got better. I can't wait till the go karts come back out. Makes me want to go out and buy one for $30,000

I think if they had put more bank in it like other indoor venues where the outside was at least one Jersey Barrier higher than the bottom they could have raced around the top and we wouldn't be complaining about it being so small. Probably not enough time for the extra dirt.

No fumes... Cmon guys it's racing in December. Yes it's follow the leader, yes the track is small... But this is good for racing. So quit your whining!

No one would come to see tq's. I wouldn't have come if it weren't dirt midgets. Bottom line is if they don't do it at Lucas next year, they might as well scrap it.

That's the problem its not racing in December. Its idling around under caution in December. Still better than being at home.

Tqs would have trouble finding a good gear for this small of track.it's not the best event but it is the first year.with some support and tweaking(like a move to Lucas stadium)could turn out to be a good thing.

Its the first year and the guy already said he shouldve made it bigger. We knew the first year wasnt going to be perfect. No indoor race is ever perfect at first. Shannon

I don't think Lucas Oil Stadium is an option. The stadium hosts a supercross, and I believe part of the Feld motorsports contract is that the facility cannot host any non-Feld promoted motorsports events.

The effort is there. They know what to do and how to fix it for next year. Lucas oil stadium WONT happen.

Fan attendance wont be a problem,Nobody will crew the infield next year

Chis, they can't fix it here unless seats for the Bb games are removed. Or put bank in the track so it's not all around the bottom

If they do this next year they need to keep the karts parked at home.

Sitting next to a couple that has a kid racing in the karts. He says they don't have brakes. If that is the case that explains a lot.

The track is as big as the facility will allow it to be. The facility is designed for basketball and events. Not a racetrack. I live in Indy and I laughed when this event was announced because the track couldn't be much bigger than an 1/8th due to the construction of the facility. The bottom level seating is only removable up to a few rows and the rest is permanent. This doesn't allow for a good construction of track.

To note my prior post: Right town, Right time, wrong facility. I have no idea what the contractual situation is with Lucas Oil, but that would be the place to have it. It is large enough it could rival the chili bowl, but we can dream.

If they do this again I suggest using a format similar to speedway bikes. A series of 4 car 4 lap heats that award points and work down to a final race. Fewer cars on track should equal fewer yellows

After 4 yellows before the first lap of the first B main, we left. Could not take the BS anymore.
