Her latest update e-mail to sponsors and friends.
:dologob:

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to send out an e-mail to let you know how the 2008 racing season
is coming along. My
last day of school was today, so I am out for the summer. This weekend was our
first full weekend
of racing with the Midwest Allstar Sprint car Series. On Friday night we raced
at Benton,
Missouri. I ran 2nd in my heat race, but my rear end broke as I crossed the
checkered flag. We
replaced a rear end between the heat race and the feature. In the feature event
a fellow driver
ran over my left rear tire, which unfortunately ended our night.
On Saturday night I ran at Mt. Vernon Illinois. I qualified 5th and ran
6th in the heat
race. The track was very dry and slick. I finished 13th in the feature, and
gained knowledge and
laps that I need to help improve my driving.
On Monday night we were scheduled to race at Quincy Illinois but the
race got canceled due
to rain and is re-scheduled for this coming Sunday.

Thank you,
Miranda Throckmorton
