"The addition of Hunter-Reay to the field leaves just one Andretti Autosport driver rideless come next Sunday, Mike Conway. Conway's attempt to drive in his third consecutve Indianapolis 500 is still alive hower as talks are currently underway to perform a similar deal with another team."

Rather you like or not, I don't, it is nothing new. In the history of the 500 it has happen more than you would think, two that comes to mind is Salt Walther and Tim Richmond who bought their rides. Let's face it when it comes to money a lot of souls are sold.

For that kind of money (half a million and half the prize money) I would have done the same thing Foyt did.

So will they run the 41 car, or withdraw it, and put RHR's 27 car in as 1st alternate?
Either way, this just plain sucks! This, With these,

Is this news any different than what happens in sprints and midgets?

Trackforum is blowing up with anti foyt/RHR threads. However, the way i see it is this amount of money can pay for both a primary and back up 2012 tub for AJ. I feel bad for Junky. But, is it that bad we have another American in the 100th Anniversary 500? I've been reading a lot of things today and sounds like this is nothing new. From what I can tell it's the 33 fastest cars not drivers. Sounds to me like its 2 teams doing good business. 1 team is looking at the future and 1 is trying to keep a sponsor.

The year no talent Scott Goodyear ran second to Al jr he had to kick Mike Groff out of his car so he could run the race. No Class!

Wow poor Bruno, I wonder if AJ will kick him a few bucks for getting the car in the show, and then the heartbreak?
I do like RHR. What the heck was with Team Andretti this year? |
