It doesn't matter to me as long as the heats are fully inverted and the finishing order translates into feature starting positions. The heats must be "meaningful".
Problem is most traacks are one lane in heat races so if you draw crappy thats just about your nite bloomington does 3 heats for 18 cars only gripe about that they run 10 laps instead of 8 no reason for it from owner/ driver standpoint but with 3 heats makes people think more cars than really are most times 9 and 10 car heats just cause more yellows . jmo
