I was there in 90 or 91 for the CRA show that Frankie Kerr stuffed McSpadden coming out of turn 4 to win. I can still remember how loud the fans booed Kerr in victory lane. It was good racing that night, at least till Frankie pulled that bonehead move.
Count me in for this race, as I love sprint/midget double headers. Sure as hell beats the junker stockcar class we always have to put up with during sprintweek. |

I like the idea of leasing a track like Union County to run a show like this. I'd like to see something like that done at Montpelier. Maybe squeeze that in between Gas City and Union County. The owner has leased it for a demolition derby twice in the last three years, so I would imagine it wouldn't be too expensive to lease. Just a thought.
