I would like to thank the Hoosier Auto Racing Fan Club, and John Hoover specifically, for my selection as the club's Media Award.
John, thanks for the nomination. I was surprised and pleased to learn of my selection.

It is the biggest honor of my life. During my 22 year newspaper career, I earned many awards for reporting and photography but this comes from close to my satisfaction with this honor.
