I have always had the utmost respect for Greg Staab, as a driver, as a owner, as a promoter, as an official and as a person. He is a portrait of everything right about racing, any organization should be doing cartwheels to keep him.

I know that the powers have read this. Thanks for reading.
We all hope that the powers can find a place with USAC for The Dog.
If they don't we all hope that he lands on his feet with something.
Good Luck !

DO,
I'm confident as you are that Dog will find a home within the racing community, if it's not with USAC. It will be USAC's loss if they choose to let him go.
And, if they do, his capabilities will certainly bode well for what could or might be USAC's competition... which in my mind, makes little sense as to why USAC would let this very valuable person go somewhere else.
As to my friend Greg, you can see by this message board how the racing community feels about you and you should be proud of your character and passion for this sport.

Greg has always been a great friend to me since I was a little girl. If USAC decides to let Greg go, it will be a great loss to them. I don't know what the wives, girlfriends, parents, car owners and fans would have done without him this year writing down the qualifying times for us! :thumb Greg, you really are the best!

I know Greg was a busy man last year but he still had time to show up at Mini Indy quarter midget track to check out the young guns!!! Greg's the man!!!
