Probably just the track officials, the drivers, and the guys that rode with the trailer... Just people that were meeting paid to be there basically. Just a guess.
Couldn't agree with the last 2 posts more. As a former track worker, I surely sympathize with their plight tonight. I've been through some long ones but tonight would be painful. Hope they all leave safe
So you do a invitation only race and get the best drivers in the world and somehow make it look like a field full of rookies no other series\promoter could do what you've done tonight
Was this whole deal a last minute decision, or was it put together by people who were very limited on their knowledge of running an event like this? I would be very interesting to know what sort of profit was made on this venture... With the right venue I think it could have become a turkey night type tradition... But it just wasn't meant to be.
