Usac is in Sun Prairie the next two days the same as last year. Just guessing that might have something to do with it. It's 400 miles up the road. 6 to 7 hours drive time. You could still run at night and make it but it probably would be a short night.

While that may be a part of the decision, DuQuoin had a concert on the track in 2023 that night of the race. Being able to schedule two events the same day on the facility allows them to make more $$$, and in truth, they probably made more on the concert that night than they did on the race at night in years prior.
