Does anyone know why they only ran a 20 lap feature Sunday at Terre Haute? Can't be because they were afraid of the sprinters running out of fuel. They regularly run 25 or 30 laps in Pennsylvania.

IRA only runs 20 lap features on half miles as I think it is a consideration that most of their teams are budget racers and in most cases 20 laps you will have the cream rise to the top with less laps on a motor. The Maverick show earlier this year at TH was 30 laps and required a fuel stop due to cautions.

DJ, I would think there were some IRA fans that decided to take a long weekend in Indiana. Maybe not, but imagine if the IRA weren’t involved and the weather was good everywhere else. With no streaming and less attendance, it would’ve been even worse. The argument that Indiana needs more wing racing has been debunked

Too small of a sample size and too many extenuating circumstances to make a blanket statement. The old promoter's adage is that it takes three years to make an event. The external feedback was overwhelmingly positive. I could see this specific event gaining some traction
