BACON CUTS SEAVEY’S LEAD TO 33 IN USAC INDIANA SPRINT WEEK TITLE RACE

By: Richie Murray – USAC Media

Terre Haute, Indiana (August 1, 2024)………With his victory on Thursday night at the Terre Haute Action Track, Brady Bacon was able to shave 11 points off Logan Seavey’s point lead of the 37th Annual NOS Energy Drink USAC Indiana Sprint Week Presented By Honest Abe Roofing series.

The margin between the two had been 44 entering Terre Haute, but now sits at 33 heading into Friday night’s penultimate round of the ISW series at Bloomington Speedway.

Seavey (Sutter, Calif.) has won three of the five ISW events run thus far while Bacon (Broken Arrow, Okla.) and Kyle Cummins (Princeton, Ind.) have each won one.* Each of those three drivers occupies the top-three spots in the ISW standings.

Cummins resides 49 points out of the lead with two ISW events remaining.* Daison Pursley (Locust Grove, Okla.) sits fourth in the standings, 93 back from the leader.* Mitchel Moles (Raisin City, Calif.) is fifth at the moment, 95 back.

A maximum of 84 points are up for grabs for each driver each night throughout USAC Indiana Sprint Week.

Two events remain on the 2024 Indiana Sprint Week calendar at Bloomington Speedway on Friday, August 2, and is followed by the finale at Tri-State Speedway on Saturday, August 3.

If somehow Brady wins ISW, can we have a new rocking chair made of lead?

Only as long as the lead is in front of or behind the main rocking points so we can be sure it’s against the rules. Oh wait. That page is missing.

No whining on my end. Just requesting additional statistics that clearly have been left out.
