Hated to see the rainout Friday after most of the USAC teams made the 10 hour or so haul to Arkansas making the trip not as profitable as it could be for the teams. It was a great race, but the Elite guys made it hairy for the USAC guys since they have never raced with the majority of them making lap traffic nuts. Love all of the USAC divisions and enjoyed several of the team members answering questions I had about the technical side of the cars & the drivers were just as nice when talking with them. It would be nice to see them again next year and appreciate the work Tim Crawley & his staff were able to do despite mother nature shortening the weekend to a one-day show again this year.
