The track was very racey, two grooves and Tall put a show on racing the high side. Number 4 turn had a big curb which Tall used. Stands were full and just $18.00 to get in. It would be nice if they could run the James Dean race there next year. The promoter Milkman just lives down the road from me. I need to put a bug in his ear.

Glad they had a good show and a good crowd. I doubt they have the capacity to do a USAC sprint/midget doubleheader. That would need a big crowd to cover costs. Tough to do on a Thursday in September.

Thanks to the whole staff at Montpellier speedway for having us sprint cars and putting on a great show! Was avery good feature and exciting battle to watch. Hopefully more sprint car racing there in future.
