I say just one - loss of ~10% of the fans who were thinking of going. Two positions? ~20%? No. Way too harsh of a penalty to pay.

I’ve got to throw in a couple cents on the subject. I can understand there’s plenty of reasons to presale tickets. But I think a good portion of the fan base is walk up to the ticket window on race day and buy your tickets. Many reasons for that as well. I have a real problem with too many fee’s. I can understand a basic convenience charge, but it should be per transaction not per ticket. I suppose it’s capitalism, but when it’s all electronic and the only difference is quantity entered, and no ticket is actually printed, I feel that is gouging. Fee’s have kept me from going to events, like some of you folks. Heck, we have a Hard Rock Casino 5 minutes away, great venue. We went to see Dwight there last year. I thought I would go buy the tickets in advance and save the fee by buying it at their box office. Turns out Ticketmaster runs their box office.
