Sadly and unfortunately for dirt track racing, it's becoming that time of year, end of the 2024 season!!
However, The 2024 Kokomo Klash is upon us!! It's Klash Week!! Fingers crossed the future forecast stays true, it looks to be absolutely beautiful weather!! Highs in the upper 70s/lower 80s...lows in the mid 50s!! Please let this forecast stay true for The O'Connor Family, the employees, the teams, the drivers, and the fans!! Several wash outs this year and even a few races that was not very well attended, we need good weather and a great crowd!! Friday evening, your last chance in 2024 to see 410 Nonwing Sprints, Racesaver Winged Sprints, and Thunder Cars at The Baddest Bullring in Indiana and arguably the best 1/4 mile dirt track in the Country!! Very nice purses for all respective divisions!! Should be an awesome show!! GA only $20 for 3 great classes of race cars, kids 12 and under FREE!! Saturday evening, your last chance in 2024 to not only see a race at The Kokomo Speedway but also to see XRS Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Hornets at Indiana's Baddest Bullring!! Very nice purses for all 4 respective divisions!! 4 great classes of race cars for another great low price of GA $20 and kids 12 and under FREE!! Not 100% sure of this, but I was told Hornets and Modifieds may already be booked full!! That would be awesome and hopefully the other classes get booked full as well!! For those who may not be huge fans of stock car racing, The Kokomo Klash is a different story!! Not only are the purses very nice for their respective divisions, but it is a huge huge deal to win The Kokomo Klash!! These drivers give it all they got!! Just go back to last year...been around Josh Gamblin most of my life, from little league to working at a car dealership in our younger years, to racing...guy bust his back all week long working a full time job to support his family, one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, one of the best Hornet Drivers to ever race a Hornet, taking after his amazing father Glenn in the Street Stock Division, me growing up looking up to Glenn, watching him every Sunday night as a kid, and Josh couldn't hardly even talk in The BC Victory Lane bc of all the tears he had flowing, all the blood, sweat, and tears he puts into his race car, and he finally parked it in The BC Victory Lane and won The Kokomo Klash after all these years!!!! You can't watch these on Flo, so GYATK and let's pack the house and show The O'Connor Family how much we appreciate them and The Kokomo Speedway for the Final Show at Kokomo in 2024!!!!!!!!!!

He won the Hoosier Hustle at Montpelier on 9/14. This was his first win at Kokomo.
