The weight is over. It’s race night and Ballou is in the house.

I went to Lincoln Park for the record. I also went to ISW when it was Danners Sprint Week and consisted of four races.
Of course it’s gotten huge ( IMO much better) when sanctioned by USAC. Now we are back to the fair fight situation. I just love the sport and wish rules were enforced. Robert is beating a dead horse. I respect his desire to follow rules and his ability to drive/wrench/own a machine in which I could only dream of doing…. This weight thing was the topic of conversation on the yearly pilgrimage to LPS with my dear friend and racer. Neither one of us could explain our love for the sport! The old motto, “feed ‘em beans” comes to mind. It’s worth mentioning I had a post disappear on the thread about promoting the sport…. Somebody watches. yfs Hubie |

SPOILER ALERT #2. THIS IS SATIRE!!!
https://www.indianaopenwheel.com/att...1&d=1722294837 USAC officials impounded Brady Bacon's motor coach Saturday at Kokomo after it was determined that not only had a step had been added in front of the front axle, but it was made of lead!! Bacon admitted to a fan that the lead step was indeed added to keep the front end on the ground, but insisted it was not a rules violation because the motor coach was not entered in the race. Upon leaning the motor coach was not officially entered in the race, USAC returned it to Bacon who discovered that four pints of chocolate oreo ice cream were missing from the refrigerator.

This is more stupid than satire. I doubt SNL will be knocking on the door for your talents any time soon. |

Yes. It’s $500 to protest. Most teams were ready to protest alongside Ballou. USAC deemed that because it was 30 minutes past the end of the race he was actually unable to protest at all…🙄 So…to my knowledge they gave him his $500.00 back and 🧹!
So apparently you have to stand at tech each night and protest every car JUST in case USAC decides to let something slide. |
