You're always a pillar of professionalism, Chris. The sport will be a lot better off when you run out of tracks to get fired at.

USAC Fan, Please explain your basketball ,football analogy.
My point was that the non-winged cars put on a better show on the same track on the same night so should be paid the better purse.

1) It's obviously not the opinion of every winged series and weekly track in the country. They pay twice and sometimes more than twice what any nonwing show pays

2) In a NASCAR race, sometimes the winner starts 30th or worse. I'm going to assume you find Sprint Cup racing to be the best racing on the planet.

So you're proposing 4 tracks make up for the fact that WoO, All Stars, Williams Grove, Knoxville, Lincoln, ASCS, Skagit, Chico, and I think even Husets pay more than Gas City, Kokomo, Bloomington, Lawrenceburg and USAC on a weekly basis?

Just pointing out that a 3rd of the tracks racing 410 winged cars on a weekly basis pay the same to win as tracks in Indiana.NOT EVERY TRACK PAYS MORE AS YOU STATED

As I said I didn't want to start the wing,non-wing argument. It seems you took me way to serious in an effort to start a confrontation which seems to be your forte on IOW. I was talking about one night, one track, tongue in cheek, not the entire country. The differences in purses, with or without wings have many reasons and I didn't want to start a 10 page thread arguing about it. So lets just agree to disagree.
Opinions are like elbows, everybody has one.

You seem to have the perfect forte for IOW: Anyone who has facts and a dissenting opinion is wrong.

You'll fit in perfectly here.
