On the topic of museums, what became of the one in Bedford? Where did all that stuff go to?

Eddie Evans, who died in April 2006, bought his first vintage car when he got out of the Navy in 1954.

Last spring, though, Mary did say goodbye to her husband’s car collection. Nearly 100 classic cars had been stored in two barns on their property for years after the museum closed. “It was time to let go of them,” she said. Her family staged an auction and sold 75 cars on site.

“I sat there and cried that day,” she said.
