The Rockford and the Slinger show should be good car counts i guess but that LaCrosse one seems awful risky to me. LaCrosse is about 4 hours from here in Plymouth and the race is a Friday night. We will see how it shapes up but it's hard for me to get excited about a race that's not on dirt.

Rockford puts on a great midget race but has not drawn very good fields or crowds for the many of the races over the past 20 years.

Tim,
Suck it up and take the trip to Lacrosse. They have beer in that town too. Is it really 4 hours for you? I can usually make it from the Madison area in about 2 1/2. I am hoping to make 2 shows that weekend. I don't think I would make the Sunday show and be back in time to work at AP.

You never know here in Wisconsin, might have to grade the track with a snowplow! My Dad always leaves his snowmobile suit in the van until the 4th of July! It seems like the summers are now down to just 2 months here, July and August. That :censor: sucks!

Supposedly that will be the number of USAC midget shows in Wisconsin. Just not on the same weekend.

Yes it does take 4 hours to get to LaCrosse from Plymouth and i'm not sucking up a day of vacation for that. My Dad also said he's not going that far for pavement either. Bring on the dirt! :action-smiley-049:
