Coupla queries:

1. Will pit passes from last night get us in on 8/8? and
2. Will the 50/50 winner from tickets sold last night be drawn on 6/19, drawn on 8/8, or did the 50/50 from last night become the 0/100 with you the winner?

My only question my dear friend is how much cash did you take home? Enough for a new stove? Numerous others also went home a winner after buying tickets from Cherie no doubt.:2:

Imagine what things would have been like without 6hrs of hard rain earlier in the day. Could the crowd have been bigger? How many were scared off by the threatening weather? Possibly more cars, although, I'm sure a few showed because of rainouts at other places but, did some not show because of what appeared to be hopeless weather conditions? The only benefit from the rain was the track was incredible. It was so much fun to drive (the few laps that I got!!)

Thanks to Tim Johnson and family for the great party on the back stretch Friday evening! Great ribs, great homemade wine, great hospitality!!

I do believe Saturday could've been one of the biggest crowds in L'Burg history. I thought it was a great night in spite of the weather. It's just a shame they didn't get to run the features on that beautiful surface. I also want to thank the L'Burg staff for trying so hard to get everything in!!!! I think Mel was very proud of all of you folks...

It was a crazy day for sure. I felt like at any point i was going to keel over, never been that nervous before. The 3 inches of rain in the morning was unbelievable!! Tim and the whole crew did a great job. The track was ready to go at 4:30 then more rain hit, causing a delay of the start of hot laps at 6:30. We had to repack the track several times because it was so soft. All in all i was very happy with the way things went. I just wished the weather would of held of so we could of completed the show. I apologize to everyone who felt cheated or disappointed. I felt that way myself. Mother nature just won't give us a break this year. I Hope to see you all on Saturday for the USAC Midgets, Lawrenceburg Chevrolet Sprints, and the Budweiser UMP Modifieds.
Sincerely, Dave Rudisell

Also want to thank the entire Johnson family for all their hard work on this event.
and thanks to all the officials for helping with this different type of format race.
and how bout the safety crew!! They are great!!
