Was told last night that the crew has been watering heavy since Wednesday. Putting way more on it than usual. Also was told that they are going to use the USAC format tonight with qualifying. Should be good if we don't melt from the heat.

Just run those hornets just before the sprint car B and A and they should be fine.

I know some tracks have to make a business decision when hot weather strikes. In some cases, it's a smart business decision. But, you just have to love these track operators with a "the show must go on" mentality. The Sheldon Kinser Memorial over the last several years has been plagued by weather. A rain out, postponements, etc. Nothing's going to stop this one from happening, though. And nothing's going to stop me from being there. This is traditionally one of my favorite races of the year. I can't wait.
