The USAC Silver Crown Series was supposed to race at the Nashville Superspeedway on July 20, 2001. Nine days before the race, the race was cancelled due to safety concerns because of the speeds.

A 190 mph spin at Bonneville. Sounds like the Demon got away with one. The air can do tricky things when your spinning at that speed.
