Are the scales at Charleston digital? Just getting an idea. I'm not 100% that I can get to 1500 without adding quite a bit and running a heavy fuel load.
Haven't ran there since a SCORA race in 2009. Thanks. |

Ok, I'll have to weigh it somewhere that has some good scales ahead of time and see how much we would have to add.

19 cars. Top 5:
1-Aric Gentry 2-Daylin Chambers 3-Steve Thomas 4-Chad Davenport 5-Brandon Morin Heat winners: Aric Gentry and Al Thomas by a straight away in heat 2, at age 82...might be a record. Great track. Smooth and moist. Full house of fans. Announced they will run weekly now. |

We really liked the speedway last night. Of course they have some bugs to work out but that is to be expected. The main concern to me was the lack of fencing in turns 3/4 and a lake on the other side. That would be real interesting if there was a big flip going into turn 3. Hopefully, if they continue to run sprints for a long period of time, they can take a look at a safety upgrade in that turn.
All in all though, I am glad we have a new track to attend. We will be back! |
