So, off to the emergency room I went. Once I got there, they hooked me up to an EKG machine which showed my heart rate to be in the 60s and 70s. You see, I have PVCs (that is where my heart skips a beat every so often). Because of the PVCs, you cannot always get a good reading of my heart beat. Basically, there was a technological glitch with the equipment where I was. However, better to be safe than sorry.
Bottom line - I have still have the kidney stone and cannot have the procedure done until I have clearance from my cardiologist.
Again, thanks to all of you for your good thoughts and prayers. The racing family has been great to me.
Lisa, I understand that Kidney stones can be awfully painful. I hope they can get things worked out soon to eliminate that stone and get you back to feeling well.
