Heats and Sprint b-main Friday. Winners Clash [winners of the season, 20 laps] $2000 to win. C-A Mains Sprints Midget Program 1200s Saturday No Qualifing. Hero & Hot Dog quals. $1000 pot $100 per car to take 3 laps. Fastest counts. EAch $100 is added to the pot pay top 3 fastest times. Saturday after hot laps Run TNT Passing point format. 2 races for points C- A Mains $3000 to win $1000 to start. $100 miss the show. Friday Undergrandstand Driver Autograph session, Band Friday night. Saturday afternoon Wet IOW T-Shirt contest, Chili cook off. :pissonwings: |

Bear with me here. How about IOW/Argosy Casino All Star Night?
Take ten "all star" drivers and run them for a ten lap shoot-out. Fans place a $20 bet (If you are wearing an IOW T-shirt or hat, the bet will cost you only $15.00) and write on the bet slip (like a 50/50 type ticket) which driver will win. Drop the bet slip in one of ten buckets, one bucket for each of the ten drivers. Which ever driver wins gets the money that was bet, winner take all. If you are the fan that bet for the winning driver and they draw your ticket, you get a prize package of 4 tickets or pit passes, 4 drinks, and 4 burgers for any weekly show and something nice from Argosy if you can convince them to do it. Any fan with that presents a losing ticket gets 50% off of a pit pass or ticket to any weekly show. Run it on any non-USAC Saturday night. This is just a rough idea and may need to be tweaked some. Would it work? |

How about some good old fashioned 5 lap match races. Midget, Sprint, even two SC cars would be good on a small track.

I really can eat pretty good, A whole subway on the green menu is no more than 700 calories, 10oz steak and Baked potato is only about 750 calories using I can't believe it's not butter spray. Green veggies are free and most fruits 4 per day and anytime as a snack You get creative. Grilled or baked chicken breast you can have two or three of. Stay away from fast food (Main reason I switched direction. Blow it once every couple weeks so you don't get so deprived you blow it everyday. My Chili is only 300 calories a bowl made from 93 percent fat free turkey, Rinsed and drained its even less. By comparison one Cheese Coney is 450 calories itself, Double cheeseburger 750, Fried chicken breast 700 vs 300 for a grilled or baked breast. Chuck, time for weigh in Some weeks I loose six or seven pounds, Other times I gain one or two, your body just works like that. Water is the key.

Just do it as a one day show for the fans we can enjoy it and move on.I would like for you to run the sprint bandit format for the non-wing cars use the girls like they do at oskaloosa for which heat race it is and so on maybe a IOW open wheel wet T-shirt contest at intermission, you could make it real interesting to if you should happen to need to rewet the track and do the show at the same time there and yes fan applause will choose the winner.Run one other class so the show moves quickly and then a band and or cookout when the event is done. For a little bonus maybe do a fan poll on here to let us pick the top five retired drivers and honor them after qualifying is done.

How about the "Iron Man Twin 25's".
Twenty five laps topless and 25 topped (must run same car each way), big money bonus to the guy who can win them both (my money is on Haud). Crazy, but it'd be fun to watch! |

The Polish Luau is a great event and you don't have to Polish or Hawaiian. RichH in his Jack Roush hat is a hoot. The food ain't bad either.
All ideas are noteworthy here. Dave will have almost too many choices if that is possible. Another could be a drawing for the IOW.com member who can give out the hardware to the winners after each checkered flag. A female IOW.com member can be the trophy girl.
