You wonder if EVERY track WANTS this though? At some point you gota wonder if all this instant info affects ticket and even video feed sales...

It was a good show. Hope tonight is as good. It was cold but we've endured worse at Volusia in the past.

It's only one night but I would concur that if this show is any indication gong forward USAC has legitimate competition in the wingless sprint division. As a spectator I'm concerned with the overall health of wingless sprint car racing and if this new division enhances the genre' overall then we're all for it. Nice job right out of the box, Casey!

Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.

I used to think so, but I think this has become more of an excuse for a smaller crowd than anything else. I don't think this deters or keeps anyone from actually going to the track. The people that are content with seeing live feeds and/or periodic standings and results were probably never really motivated to go to the track anyway. The things that get actual race fans to show up in person don't translate well through a twitter feed or video screen.

Winged sprints at Volusia had an SRO crowd Saturday and I saw people Saying the late models at East Bay had bigger crowds than they can remember. Anyone arguing streaming is hurting attendance is making excuses for bad promotion.

I guess I was watching something different, because the race I watched, the USAC guy’s made the show!

and just like that. The Blue Oval buries the bowtie in the first Xtreme Outlaw Series Race.
Blue Oval won first WoO of year too.

RIP Bowtie

💯 I absolutely agree.

You laugh because I'm different. I laugh because you're all the same. Copied from the back of the #16 supermodified.
