How is jac not marketable? Sure he is aged but so does a fine scotch. Look at the drivers who run woo. Most of them are old enough to be 75% of a usac fields dad.

You take a fifty something guy like Jac and a twenty something kid like Kyle Larson and you tell me which is one is more marketable. The demographics dictates young, good looking guys and gals that can handle themselves behind a wheel of a race car and also at a press conference and in turn attract young fans. They are the future of the sport. For Jac, WoO is a destination. For Kyle, it is a stepping stone to the top.
This sucks because I think Jac is fantastic, a great guy and a great driver. But if you understand anything about marketing then you'll see what the sponsors want.
Not putting Jac down here at all, just stating what marketing types look for.
Danica isn't worth a damn, but because she's a public relations giant, she gets the ride instead of somebody that has the capability but not marketability.
imo......jac is just as marketable as joey and it shows in his t-shirt sales. plus he is probably one of the top 5 racers anywhere as far as fan interaction.

No, this car is out of MN, ran K-ville for a long time, went on the road in the mid-90's with Kenny Jacobs. Stevie Smith and Wolfgang were also in that car.
