According to one of my friends who worked as a weather "person", a 40% chance of rain means that 40% of the viewing or forecast are WILL receive rain.

Looks like Indy just got pounded by a storm. I hope the mile was sealed up.

Playing devils advocate here, had they not cancelled then and tried to run in the track, it would have been a late start racing. Probably still racing now. According to the radar here at work and on my phone, it is raining at the track right now (but not in downtown).

Huge disappointment to lose another race thanks to the weather. Our first being last Saturday's KISS show at the Burg.

It was our choice and risk to fly over from the UK.

We pretty much just checked into the Terre Haute Super8 when the rain came down today. It was bouncing. Our hearts sunk - It was a heavy down pour, we knew BUT We kept a close look at both Facebook & Twitter waiting for the news we knew we were going to get.

It came through that tonight was cancelled.

Huge disappointment.

Into the car and back to Anderson, through quite a few rain showers.

Anderson was wet on arrival. Being pavement it dried out.

A quick show. All done in around 2 hours as more weather looked to be moving in.

Just got the wi-fi back on in the motel following thunder, lightning and rain.

Sometimes you're the pigeon sometimes your the statue.

I applaud THAT and USAC on getting us a quick reschedule date set and none the less getting a pretty good Friday night for the event. Sorry just trying to find some positive in a tough situation for both fan and promoters.
