Mickey and his smiling face will be missed around the race track. You should know, too, that he was very proud of you and the accomplishments you both made in racing.

I am so sorry to hear this news, Steve. You and your father were always so kind to us at the track and helped us several times along the way. And what a great tribute you wrote about your father. May he rest in peace.

Steve, I saw your father race quite a few times. IIRC, he drove a white LTC VW in USAC and MARA. When he was a young driver, we often called him just "Mick". The last time I saw him was at a race track somewhere last year. It was obvious that his health was failing, but he seemed happy that he was at a race track.
