Laycock, Derek N.
October 23, 2007


Derek Neil Laycock 35, Fairland, died October 21, 2007. He was born December 11, 1971 in Indianapolis. Mr. Laycock was an independent construction contractor for 15 years; he was also a videographer with Racin' D.O. He loved all types of motorsports. His love of racing started early in life. His favorite was the local Indiana and USAC Sprint Car. Mr. Laycock was a family man, including being an assistant football coach with his son at Triton Central. The family asks memorial contributions may be made to the Derek Laycock Trust Fund for the education of his children. Mr. Laycock is survived by his father and wife, Dan O. (Druzella) Laycock of Indianapolis; mother, Lynda Bowman of Fairland; son, Corbin R. Laycock of Fairland; daughter, Sabbatha R. Laycock of Fairland; fianc
