Hi, just wanting some opinions who you think the best engine builder's are out there for 1000cc mini sprint engines? I have a friend that is looking to have his engine redone and would like the best that is in the Indiana area.

Thanks,

Marc Orr

If you want over 20 years experience and over 300 feature wins call HUD Racing Engines. He knows what you need for mini sprint racing.

Air and Service

Before you guys get carried away. Start it up, warm it up, let it cool down, leak it down. Invest a few bucks in a leak down gauge and do it your self. (check Harbor freight) If it comes in somewhere between 3% and 10% don't worry about it. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Don't spend that money however because you will need it down the road. It isn't unusual to race one of these motors 4+ years with no problems. Change the oil. Keep it cool. Keep it just off of the rev limiter. Keep it the way it left Japan.
