But unfortunately, I wont be there next year.

Hopefully the non winged sprints continue to run there next year.

I guess the Bell Helmet Points was only good if they got the track back. It seems most tracks in IL. Never finish what they start. I do think Bill is a nice guy, but they never finished this year. We enjoyed racing at Danville. Just wish they finished it. That's all.

All races scheduled as the Bell Shootout were run this year at Danville, so I don't know what you are referring to as "not finished". As for next year at Danville, the new promotor hasn't contacted me about continuing Bell's involvement in 2008. Bill Nelson and I came up with the idea of the Shootout, so if he gets involved somewhere else, like Terre Haute maybe....or Boswell, then we would continue it as long as he runs non-wing sprints.

This came out wrong. I have talked(pvm) with Bill. Did not mean racing not finished I thought no banquet. Or bell points. On there web sight it said banquet tba then the next post is thanking everyone and wishing the next promotor good luck. I was advised by Bill there will be something coming after the first of the year.
Just to clear up what i was thinking.
As for Bill Nelson we will try to make any show he puts on, never have I talked with a promotor that would listen to all the racers and treat you like everyone else at track. He treated everyone the same as well as would take your phone calls. The first post is just a racer in IL. that hates not having sprint car racing weekly in IL. I never get out what I'm trying to say. Did not mean anything toward Bill as a person, Just IL. tracks. CALL ME :kookoo2:
