Got word through queencitymotorsports.com that Jim "IMZIE" Iholte passed away 2/5 in florida where he spend his winter months.
Jim was a scorer, flagman and pit stewart at The Burg and Florence and at other tracks in the past. I met Jim several times last year and found him to be a wealth of information and fun to be around. Cecile. I know this hits your family hard. Any more info you can give us on him. Rest in peace to a man I made a quick friendship with and who shared lots of info from my earliest days of racing (Early 70s burg) Chuck

Chuck,
Cecil98 had an IOW thread started last night (Jim Imholte's Death), it has dropped down a bit in the order of IOW messages. Sad News indeed! R.I.P. "Imzie"

And a member here, too. Even though I hadn't seen him post in a long time. R.I.P. Imzie.
