Hopefully Flo starts at 10am for USAC’s second longest running event so we can see the crown cars at their best in hot laps. I usually attend in person but can’t this year. Surprised to see Don Droud get the call in the Cornell #8. Seems like there’s better USAC drivers available but I like Droud I guess for an older guy that has always supported non-wing sprint car racing. How storybook would it be though for the Bateman car to win! I’m going to turn it on at 10 and hope for the best. Have you seen what ESPN shows now on Thursday night instead of USAC racing? A joke of a network and a joke of a country that we’ve become.

I think I noticed Droud having a pretty good run in smthn a couple weeks ago?

What are they showing on Thursdays on ESPN? lol. I sure wished I didn't like f1 too; I would never tune into that network...

Really hope the crowd fills in. Right now there are more geese on the pond than people in the stands.

It turned out to be a great race! There were some cars tore up, and that’s not good, but it was a very competitive race. The top 5 stayed together all day. Danner and Bibent were really fun to watch. Nice to have some young guns at the front. It was crazy how it rained in 3/4 but almost nothing in 1/2. Thanks DuQuoin!

It was a good race. I agree about Bibent...he was fun to watch. Kind of funny hearing Moles complaining about Bibent bumping him. That's pretty much all Moles does is run into people and tear up cars. Lol.
