How many Silver Crown cars do you think they will have on Saturday night? Where should I go?

Go where you want, but keep in mind, this doesn't happen much anymore (nor will it if we do not support it).

230 miles from my house down there and I might just make the trip by myself. Like the other poster said it might be the last time to see a race like this.

My son and I plan on coming up from South Carolina as we have family in Louisville. However, the forecast for Saturday night does not look good at the moment.

Maybe this would be a good race for us to see not because how many cars are there, but a tribute to the one driver that won't be there.
Nothing hurts a race crowd more then the chance of rain. Why don't the weatherman on this sight nip it on daily forecast of rain for this race. |

Sure would like to see someone get a seat fitted for Mr. Gerster. The last couple of years at Salem he has been spectacular to say the least.

Midwest Oldtimers Vintage Race Car Club will be there Saturday. We usually have about 30 cars at Salem.
As far as Silver Crown cars they had 22 at indy, I know of two that were at Indy that will not be at Salem.
