One of my best buds has got his travel trailer over at Eldora this week for the World 100. The park he stays at won’t let him leave it for the 4 Crowns. Does anyone know a safe place near the track where he could leave it for a couple weeks?

There's a campground about 15 minutes away called Cottonwood I think, or was he just wanting to set it in someone's yard?

Could you imagine the mess they would open up if they just let folks keep their Motorhome or Trailer's on their property from one event to another. Though, it could open up another minimal revenue stream by offering storage for Motorhome and Trailers.

814, you’re correct. The campground he goes to basically shuts down after this weekend which is why he can’t leave it. I understand why the track wouldn’t do it, and if the campground closes for the year I understand that too. The problem is when you buy a trailer when gas is 2 dollars a gallon versus 4, it becomes much less cost effective. We were just thinking maybe someone with some property nearby who might want to negotiate a fair price to just leave it sit there for a couple weeks. Either way it’s coming back to Merrillville, and they will stay in the motel for 4 Crowns if they can’t find a taker. No big deal, just thought maybe someone has done something like this before. Thanks for the input

Trust me I understand. Driving a 30+ year old motorhome that averages 7 miles a gallon pulling a off road buggy. It adds up quickly. Not including fuel for the Generator.

I am about 50 miles away if that is close enough. Message me.

Turns out he has to take it back to the dealer for some issues that have arisen. Thanks to all who considered helping and especially Kinser11
