Well 2 ?'s actually. First, is the event still on for the 1000cc cars? Second, are they running the same rules as July? Thanks

First not sure what race you are talking about because nothing is on the schedule besides kenyon midgets on the 11th.....Second I would never take a 1000cc back to that track and was told from the promoter that 1000cc will never be back.

The AMSA lists a race at US24 on Aug 4th, but Midget18 is correct, no mention on the track Web site. If there is no race at US24 that day, you may want to consider the non-wing midget race at Montpelier as an alternative.

We are hosting our Midget divisions on July 28 and August 4 at the Montpelier Motor Speedway. We would love to have the support of any and all 1000cc+ wingless cars.

No need for wings....mini sprints are doing good up at Montpelier against the midgets......even won a heat race this year

They did not say that there would not ever be 1000 there

We would love to attend more non-wing races but I can't justify the 3.5 hour drive when there are other tracks running much closer to home.
Wish the non-wing race was still on for Moler. I bet a bunch of cars would have hung around for L-Burg if they could have raced Thu, Fri and Saturday.
