Watching the Grand Annual Sprint Car Classic from Australia and I see our good friend and USAC reporter Drake York is in the infield with his mike interviewing the blokes! Good for him!
Poor guy will have to come back to Ocala Speedway in a few weeks.....

Good for him. I think he does a good job considering his youth. I think he’s got a bright future in the sport

I’m at Warrnambool as I write this lads. Listening to Drake introduce the 24 drivers for the 2025 Grand Annual Classic.
He has been doing an outstanding job since he arrived here pre Christmas. Has covered many different races including sprintcar and midget speed weeks. His knowledge of Australian speedway is extraordinary which shows he has done significant in depth research. Congratulations Drake. You are welcome to our microphones any time. |

I think he did a good job. This will do nothing but benefit him in the future. I'm also glad that a few more people are watching the races down under. They are really doing some good things at those tracks.

Now Drake will come back with one of them accents that make him more fit for Nascar and Indy than Sprints and LM's.

I think I can assure you Charles that he is still the good California kid that left your shores to do the same thing as he did 12 months before. This is his second visit with no accent lost, or gained.

23 Australians livin’ the dream. It’s a mammoth schedule that ensures we’ll meet plenty of US fans along the road. We’ll try to make sure you’re one of them …. https://globalspeedwaytours.com.au/w...-16th-2025.pdf |

I'll keep my eyes peeled for the Aussie flag in your camp this Summer. That's how I found you at Attica a few years back.
