Nice to see the Waite coming back. It was a great event at Fairbury and I'm sorry it left there, the racing was fantastic. I hope it draws well at LaSalle

WoO in October in Northern Illinois is never gonna be a winner. Growing up in Joliet I can't remember a time it wasn't cold and rainy most of October.

I've grown up by Rockford IL and I'd say it's pretty split (on Oct weather).

Now, I would think that would be a great show to start before it gets dark though...

I'm about certain the Sept open wheel event was a day show. I do not think that would be a bad idea.

Nowdays "ratings" on the streaming channel will matter too...

Hopefully it's just the kind of night you get the jackets out and buy some hot chocolate...maybe some bonfires / grills (if allowed) in the parking lot. Have to hope for the best...ticket buyers will know it's the last time they get to see race action around the area for the season...

The Waite was at LaSalle in 2016 and 17 at least.

I was there in 2016. That's the only time I've ever been there, but I thought the place was packed.
